Sports scholarships are awarded to pupils who show leadership, excellence and a positive attitude in more than one sport, including a team sport. They should be committed at all times and have a high level of personal fitness. Whilst they should regularly attend outside clubs, their priority should be their commitment to school teams and fixtures.
As part of our commitment to sports excellence, sports scholars at our school benefit from tailored sports enrichment sessions. These sessions focus on developing deep knowledge and understanding of key aspects through practical sessions covering topics such as fitness testing, fitness training methodologies, and theoretical lessons on sports physiology.
