About St Peter's Preparatory School
A non-selective independent preparatory school for boys and girls aged 3 to 13. St Peter's was founded in 1882 and celebrated its 140th anniversary last year. Flexi-boarding on weeknights is offered to children in Year 3 and above.
Mrs Charlotte Johnston became the school's tenth, and first female, Head in 2016. She also sits on the board of IAPS. St Peter's is a forward thinking school which embraces an aspiring and positive attitude to learning.
All our Year 8 leavers in 2023 went on to independent senior schools and nearly 40% of these children achieved scholarships. Scholarships were won in the following disciplines: academic; art; drama; music and sport.
